The Communication
Formula
In just 3 hours, learn how to communicate so he stops defending himself, comes closer and gives you what you want.
What you’ll learn
The exact words for the conversation you’ve been wanting to have
You’ll leave with the exact words for the conversation you’ve been wanting to have, said in a way he can actually hear, so he moves toward you instead of defending himself.
The 4 recovery strategies
The 4 recovery strategies, if he starts defending, goes blank, says “here we go again”, or removes himself.
A 3-step formula to share your feelings
A 3-step formula to share your feelings in a way that he can hear you, come closer and understand you on a deeper level so you feel loved and cared for.
This isn’t a webinar
You won’t be watching me talk for three hours. I’ll share the formulas and then we’ll practise and troubleshoot. Most of the night is about you asking me questions, talking in small breakout rooms with other women, finding your own words and practising them so you’re ready to have that conversation with your partner.
You leave with your own words and tools you can come back to every time a conversation gets hard.
Your camera can stay off the whole time, and you can pass on anything. Nothing you say leaves the room.
Register to learn how to bring him closer

This is for you if…
- You still care about him, but feel lonely in a relationship.
- You want to be treated in a way that feels nourishing and loving, and you don’t know how to ask for that without him becoming defensive.
- You’ve stopped bringing it up because it never goes well. Or you have to keep on asking to get anything out of him.
- Sometimes you might doubt your relationship and it scares you. What if he can never give you what you need?
- Sometimes you feel sad and hopeless, and wonder what changed, why don’t you feel close anymore… You might even wonder “Does he still love me? Is he still attracted to me?”
Picture this…
- Saying the thing you’ve been holding back for years, and watching him lean in instead of becoming defensive.
- Being touched the way you want to be touched, because you found the words for it instead of hoping he’d work it out.
- Feeling understood by the person who’s meant to know you best.
- Never having that same argument again because you found the right words.
- Knowing there’s nothing wrong with you, and that you’re not asking for too much.

It’s neither
Maybe right now communication with your partner feels difficult… You bring it up. He shuts down, or he defends himself, or he says “can we not do this now.” You feel him going away, so you push a bit harder, because you can feel him withdrawing even though he’s still sitting there. Then you’re the one who’s crying, or furious, or saying “forget it, it doesn’t matter” and you want to give up. And then you don’t mention it again for another three months.
Some days it’s clearly him. He’s shut down, he won’t meet you halfway. Other days you’re awake at 2am deciding it’s you. Asking for too much, not attractive enough…
It’s neither. You’re stuck in a negative communication pattern. One person reaches, the other pulls back, and the more you reach the further he goes. When you push, you’re reaching for him. And he pulls back because he feels he’s already failed you.
So the problem is the pattern the two of you are caught in together. And that can change, without him going first.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need him to know I’m doing this?
No. Plenty of women do this without saying anything, and let him find out through how the conversation goes instead.
What if I can’t make it live?
Register anyway and you’ll get the recording. But you’ll get the most out of the workshop if you join us live, because the breakout rooms are where you’ll practise, and you can’t do those on a replay. You’ll also be able to ask me any questions about communication and your particular circumstances.
What if I don’t feel comfortable in the group?
Camera off is completely welcome, and you only share what you feel comfortable with. If you feel a bit shy in a group, know that this is a very safe space and the kind support of other women will relax and empower you.
How do I get in touch with you?
You can email me at tarisha@sexualempowermentforwomen.com
When is the workshop happening?
The workshop is happening on Monday 9 November, 6–9pm NZT or 4–7pm Sydney.
What is the refund policy?
I know the power of this work and fully stand for it. If you’re not fully satisfied after the workshop, I’ll gladly refund you. You do need to attend the workshop to get the refund.
Will I have to share something intimate with strangers?
You’ll share as much as you choose to. You can always pass. And the rule in every breakout is that the other woman just listens. She doesn’t fix, advise or comment.
I’m not in a relationship right now. Is this still useful?
Yes, though it’s built for partnered women. If you’re on your own, you’ll leave with the skill and the language, which is worth having before the next one.
